This page shows you how to enroll students, instructors, TA's, etc. into your course.
Enrolling Users
Log into BlackBoard.
Select the course that you would like to enroll the user into.
This can be done by clicking on the course in the "My Courses" box.
Click on the "Users and Groups" collapsable box.
The "User and Groups" collapsable box is located on the control panel.
Click on the green "Find Users to Enroll" button.
The "Find Users to Enroll" button is located underneath the top of the "User" title box.
Enter the username of the user to be enrolled in the text box.
The username is the part that comes before @linfield.edu.
Select which role the user has in the menu beneath the username text box.
Student
Instructor
Faculty Observer - this allows users to observe the course, but not see student information.
Teaching Assistant - this gives users the role of co-teacher
Course builder - this allows another user to edit the course, without having access to student information.
Grader - this allows users limited access to the course, including grading, and student information.
Click the "Submit' button.
